For several years, A.E.D. has offered the following previously unavailable sizes of custom streamline "aerotube."

They are produced by roll-forming ROUND tubes through a series of rollers and dies.  This process is cold-rolled, and no further processes (such as stress-relieving) are performed afterwards.

The round tubes can be 4130,  Mild Steel, Aluminum, Titanium ("CP" Grade is preferred), or Stainless Steel.

Wall thicknesses can range from .032 - .065, based on availability of round material.

Minimum order is one length of the round material.

There are no tolerances on the finished dimensions. The major and minor are going to be close to the listings, but the type and grade of material are going to affect the finished results, as well as the wall thickness.

There are no material test reports (sometimes referred as "material certifications") available for the finished roll-formed material.  Test reports are available for most of the original round tubes at an additional cost. Be sure to discuss with your sales representative.
